Buddhist teachings are a Path that each one of us can walk. It leads from delusion to Awakening, from root dissatisfaction of life and suffering to happiness and beyond. A Path marked by vast loving kindness, compassion and powerful methods that remove the obstacles that block our pure experience of life.

"Khenpo" is a title that literally means "one who knows". Khenpos are the scholars who educate Tibetan lamas.

Khenpo Nyima Gyaltsen was born in Tibet and began his monastic training there. For the past two years he has been teaching at the Drikung Institute in Dehra Dun, India. He will give an introduction to Buddhism and discuss how to engage in practices that create the conditions for happiness.

Perfect Buddhas, source of all well-being and happiness,
Arise from accomplishing the excellent teachings,
And this depends on knowing the practices.
So I will explain the practices of Bodhisattvas.
